This regional medical center is a leading healthcare provider on Maryland's Eastern Shore offering comprehensive women's health services. The facility features a 13-bed department and serves as a Level 3 trauma center, providing essential medical care to the surrounding communities.

Certified - Obstetrics and Gynecology

Job Details :

• 24-hour in-house shifts covering OB, GYN, and ED consults
• Approximately 15 patient encounters per shift
• Must be board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Active Maryland medical license or IMLC required
• ACLS certification required
• Manage both low and high-risk pregnancies
• Perform and interpret FHR monitoring (NST / CST / FSE)
• Conduct and interpret OB ultrasounds (Level I / Screening and Level II / Targeted)
• Perform amniocentesis procedures
• Handle routine deliveries including vaginal and low forceps
• Make critical decisions regarding c-section interventions
• Manage complicated deliveries including c-sections, breech, multiple births, and abruptions
• Experience with VBACs preferred
• Repair 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
• Provide office / minor gynecology services (IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, LEEP, etc.)
• Perform surgical gynecology including open, laparoscopic, and operative procedures
• Laser certification preferred
• Position starting December 1, 2025 with ongoing availability
• 60-day credentialing timeframe
• Comfortable accommodation options available at Hampton Inn Fruitland or Salisbury
