We're looking for a Desktop Special Delivery to join our team.
The Desktop Tech is responsible for implementing hardware and software configurations for one or a group of personal computers including complying to specification requirements, assembling the hardware and software, configuring system applications and testing and debugging for proper functioning.
Responsibilities
Inbound Care Packages- lifting, open and unbox items, scan into excel spreadsheet,
Check in all returned equipment daily
Outbound Care Packages- includes creating FedEx labels and putting empty boxes together to be shipped out
Sorting and moving processed check-ins to necessary locations in the Depot
Performing QA on devices eligible for redeployment
Moving and Lifting up to 50lb boxes and equipment
Inventory- Scan and stock incoming inventory on shelves
Disposals- scanning and loading disposals in all-weather containers
Issuing and tracking of logical and physical access media (Yubikeys and facilities access
badges) for New Hires
Service Now ticketing system for ticket assignments, updates and status
Follow checklist and all procedures accurately provided by the team lead and client
Repairs- as needed if equip returned is still under warranty
HP Certifications- suggested to perform onsite hardware repairs
Apple knowledge is recommended
Limited to no end user client interaction
Other duties as assigned
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Maintain highest level of customer satisfaction
Communicate effectively with management, team lead and team members
Represent CompuCom in a professional and businesslike manner
Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma
1 - 2 years of related experience
Communicate effectively with management, team lead and team members
Basic IT and Troubleshooting skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Tools
Time Management is very important- must be available when needed by client / end users
Wage Range :
The hourly rate for this position is between $16.87 - $24.75 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography / market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
