Quality Assurance Manager

A well-established, high-volume food manufacturer in the Southwestern Indiana region is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to oversee plant-level quality and food safety programs. This hands-on leadership role ensures compliance with company, customer, and government standards while driving continuous improvement and maintaining product excellence.

The ideal candidate brings a solid foundation in food production quality systems, including HACCP, SQF, GMPs, and USDA / FDA compliance, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all quality assurance programs for the facility, ensuring compliance with company and customer expectations.
• Oversee inspections, testing, and audits for raw materials, in-process, and finished goods.
• Maintain and improve HACCP, SSOP, and GMP programs; ensure timely corrective actions.
• Partner with production and sanitation leadership to ensure plant-wide adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Support external and internal audits, including SQF, USDA, and FDA.
• Review documentation for pre-shipment, CCPs, and validation studies.
• Train, mentor, and develop QA technicians and plant personnel.
