Activities Therapist - Adult CSU [485]

Advanced professional position providing direct therapeutic services to identified mental health and substance abuse clients. The therapist will be responsible for maintaining patient care in accordance with program guidelines and external standards (Joint Commission, Medicaid, etc.). The therapist will provide clinical services to the following populace: individual, family and group therapy to adults. Master's degree in a Human Services related discipline and at least 1 year experience in the behavioral health field. State of Florida registered interns with clear/active status preferred. Bilingual (English-Spanish)is recommended. Computer knowledge should include Microsoft applications (Word, Excel) and Electronic Medical Records experience helpful. May provide clinical oversight in a multidisciplinary team. Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds of dead weight alone. May be required to complete standing presentations involving speaking and listening to audience. Multi-tasking, fast paced, team approach requiring above average time management skills.
