ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provides Job Coaching to Clients at worksites operated by DKA. Trains, and evaluates Client trainees and provides instruction, support, and positive constructive feedback.
2. Reviews Client's job duties and ensures duties are completed to the business's specifications. Client's job duties include taking out trash, mopping and vacuuming floors, cleaning windows and other periodic facilities maintenance.
3. Assesses Client's performance, including timeliness, preparedness, focus, and retention of information, and Client's behavioral health, and works with Clients on improvement.
4. Closely supervises client during shift, checking work and documenting any absence longer than 7 minutes.
5. Uses positive communication styles in order to maintain rapport with client and facilitate client's willingness and ability to receive feedback and make necessary changes.
6. Assists in the development of workplace accommodations as needed.
7. Ensures proper safety equipment and procedures are used at all times in the workplace.
8. Instructs clients in hard and soft skills to ensure a professional appearance and demeanor. Assists clients in learning soft skills needed for successful employment including, but not limited to :
1. Stress management
2. Time management
3. Anger management
4. Communication skills
5. Organizational skills
9. Writes comprehensive progress notes outlining the clients' daily training and steps toward achieving their goals. Completes all required documentation on time.
10. Plans and facilitates client evaluations with the Program Coordinator. Works with client and Program Coordinator to determine effectiveness of coaching and discuss areas of improvement.
11. Completes worksite duties in the absence of the client trainees.
12. Regular maintenance and improvement of facilities and property; Waters and maintains plants and planters, special projects, documents and reports potential issues on property.
SKILLS REQUIRED
1. Manual dexterity to use hand and power tools safely.
2. Experience with PC use, Windows, and Microsoft Office 365 apps : Word, Outlook, Excel
3. Ability to document client progress in medical record format.
4. Good written and verbal communication skills.
5. Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
6. Ability to bend, twist, stoop, climb a ladder, and lift 25-50 lbs.

11. Responsible for consistent compliance with the policies and procedures of DKA and communicates questions or concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
12. Adheres to a designated schedule and displays punctuality, communicating any scheduling conflicts or changes as soon as possible.
13. Assist in other areas and with additional tasks on request. This might involve stepping in to cover for a colleague who is out sick, taking on a new project, or assisting with a task outside of their usual scope of work.
14. Ability to work a set schedule.
15. Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
1. BHT Certification
2. Ability to perform the job duties of the client as necessary in order to provide comprehensive coaching.
3. Must be able to gain finger-print clearance within 90 days of hire.
4. Must be able to pass drug screen.
