Job Description
We are seeking a Caregiver Lead to join our team who is reliable and able to remain professional in ALL scenarios. In this role, you will make a difference in the lives of seniors and people with disabilities by enhancing their quality of life. A lead caregiver will work part-time in the office (assisting with orientation, training new caregivers, providing ongoing training for existing caregivers and filling in shifts) and part-time in the field as a traditional caregiver.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Training / Onboarding caregiversStarting new clientsQuality assurance visits for both caregivers and clientsAssist with personal hygiene needs and dressingAssist with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercisesPrepare meals and snacksLight housekeeping activitiesMedication remindersProvide companionshipAssist with errands and shoppingOn-call scheduleReport all change in conditions to Care ManagerAble to problem solve in various situationsQUALIFICATIONS
HCACurrent TB testPrevious experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar rolePrevious experience working in admin, clerical, or customer facing roles is preferredFirst aid and CPR certified preferredAbility to lead and educate othersKnowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skillsAbility to adhere to all health and safety guidelinesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to lift heavy objectsCompassionate, respectful, ethical
