Opportunity Details

Medicus is collaborating with a hospital in eastern Pennsylvania with an opportunity for a skilled OB Hospitalist to provide locum coverage.

Opportunity Overview

  • Schedule : 24-hour call, 7a-7a
  • Setting : Inpatient
  • Level I Nursery
  • Annual Volume : ~750 deliveries
  • OB Duties : Triage, labor management, vaginal births and c-sections, postpartum sterilization, and postpartum care
  • GYN Duties : ED and floor consults, acute surgical care, and possible D&E for miscarriages
  • Required Procedures : Labor induction, deliveries, laceration repairs, birth control placement, surgical management of ectopic pregnancy, torsion, etc.
  • Support Staff : Nurses, CNM, PA, technical and perioperative support, in‑house anesthesia, and in‑house pediatrics
  • EMR : Epic
  • Must be board‑certified
  • Paid travel & expenses
