Job Title : Special Education Teacher (SPED – LBS1 Certified)

Location : Bourbonnais, IL 60913

Pay Rate : $85 / hour

Contract Length : 43 Weeks

Schedule : Monday – Friday, Full-Time (In-Person)

Orientation Start Date : August 11

Job Overview :

We are seeking a committed and qualified Special Education Teacher with LBS1 certification and preferably middle school life skills experience to join our team in Bourbonnais, IL . This is a full-time, in-person position with a 43-week contract .

Responsibilities :

Deliver specialized instruction to middle school students with special needs, focusing on life skills development.

Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to ensure student progress.

Maintain documentation and compliance with state and federal education regulations.

Requirements :

Valid Illinois LBS1 certification required.

Preferred experience working with middle school students in life skills programs.

Available for in-person orientation starting August 11 .

Able to work full-time, Monday through Friday, on-site in Bourbonnais, IL.

Contract Details : 43-week contract

$85 / hour , paid weekly

Full-time, in-person role
