Job Summary :

As a Direct Support Professional at COD Health Care, you will provide care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and fostering their independence within a compassionate and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, hygiene, and nutritional needs.
• Implement and monitor individual service plans to promote the individual's well-being, independence, and social growth.
• Provide transportation for clients to appointments, community events, and other activities.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of clients, adhering to all agency policies and compliance with DODD regulations.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided, behavioral observations, and incident reports.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to ensure best practices in client care and compliance with health and safety standards.
