Summary
We are working with a well-established, employee-owned mechanical and infrastructure contractor seeking an experienced Project Manager. This role is ideal for a results-driven leader with experience managing complex mechanical, industrial, and process piping projects valued at $5M+. The ideal candidate is skilled in project oversight, estimating, scheduling, and mentoring field and office staff.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead full-cycle project delivery including safety, quality, budget, procurement, and client relations
- Maintain project schedules and financial performance with support from internal teams
- Mentor project engineers, field staff, and supervisors to ensure team development and success
- Engage directly with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors throughout the project
- Prepare proposal packages, takeoffs, conceptual and final estimates
- Support client acquisition and build long-term partnerships with repeat clients
- Drive communication across project stakeholders to resolve conflicts and ensure alignment
Qualifications :
7+ years of experience in industrial, mechanical, or heavy civil constructionBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering preferred (or equivalent experience)Experience managing construction projects over $5M in markets like hydro power, high-tech, or manufacturingProficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Procore, Viewpoint, and estimating platformsAbility to perform detailed estimating and change order managementStrong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skillsValid driver’s license and willingness to travel as neededCompensation + Benefits :
