Job description

School-Based Occupational Therapist – Centre County, PA

Onward Search Education is a specialized education staffing and talent solutions company that helps educators, therapists, and school health professionals find top jobs with leading schools statewide. We are currently seeking a School-Based Occupational Therapist in Centre County, Pennsylvania, for the 2025–2026 school year.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support students’ success by providing occupational therapy services in a school setting. The role offers consistent weekday hours, a collaborative environment, and the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students.

Position Details :

  • Role : School-Based Occupational Therapist
  • Location : Centre County, PA
  • Schedule : Monday–Friday, School Hours
  • Duration : ASAP – June 3, 2026
  • Setting : Junior / Senior High School

Responsibilities :

  • Provide occupational therapy services aligned with IEP goals
  • Conduct student evaluations and develop treatment plans
  • Implement therapy sessions in both pull-out and push-in formats
  • Track and report student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies

    • Qualifications :

  • Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist License (required)
  • Experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred
  • Knowledge of best practices in pediatric occupational therapy
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
