TECHNICAL DATA ANALYST NEW YORK CITY
We are seeking a Technical Data Analyst for a two-year contract role, working 35 hours per week, primarily onsite in New York City with limited remote flexibility.
The Technical Data Analyst will support the analysis, cleansing, and conversion of legacy data into a new pension administration system. This position requires strong analytical skills, structured documentation expertise, and the ability to support reporting and issue tracking through JIRA and project dashboards.

- What Youll Do Analyze legacy data structures and document requirements and mappings
- Support cleansing activities by identifying anomalies and inconsistencies
- Prepare agendas, objectives, and materials for stakeholder meetings
- Track and log meeting outcomes, issues, and data anomalies in JIRA
- Assist in bi-weekly reporting and contribute to dashboards and metrics
- Provide reconciliation and validation documentation to support audits
- Collaborate with system integrators, consultants, and business stakeholders
- What Youll Bring 5+ years of technical data analysis experience
- Prior experience working with government agencies on data management, analysis, or migration initiatives
- Expertise with Oracle 19c and SQL
- Oracle Data Migrationrelated certification
- Proven ability to deliver structured reports and documentation
- Familiarity with JIRA or other project tracking tools
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Bonus Points For Oracle Database SQL Certified Associate
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)
- Certified Data Analyst (CDMP Practitioner)
- Microsoft Certified : Data Analyst Associate
- Experience preparing deliverables for independent verification reviews
