    • Job Summary : Performs circulation and customer service functions. Answers directional questions and refers customers to appropriate materials.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Performs Circulation duties, such as checking materials in and out, handling bills and notices, placing items on hold, processing courier delivery, processing a variety of reports, and account maintenance.
  • Assists patrons with reference, computer, and equipment questions and support.
  • Assists in planning and implementing programs and outreach activities.
  • Handles interlibrary loans.
  • Serves on internal and external committees and workgroups.
  • Shelves materials.
  • Collecting crates of materials for patrons / organizations utilizing the delivery service.
  • Prepares bulletin boards and other displays.

    • Requirements :

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Knowledge of Windows-based computer operations, library methods and procedures, and Microsoft Office programs.
  • General office experience.
