Litigation Attorney

Struck Love Acedo (“SLA”) is currently hiring a litigation associate. SLA specializes in defense of constitutional claims under § 1983 and _Bivens_. The firm also routinely defends torts, class actions, and complex civil litigation matters. SLA defends cases nationwide in both state and federal court, from inception through post-trial appeals. Candidates must have excellent writing and communication skills and a strong work ethic. At SLA, under the supervision of the partners, litigation associates work up their own files, including significant motion practice, defending and taking depositions, arguing motions, and second-chairing trials. Candidates will have the opportunity to actively participate in and take ownership of their cases. SLA is looking for motivated attorneys to work in a collaborative team environment, where appellate decisions from various jurisdictions are frequently debated to resolve important, often novel, legal issues.
