Key Responsibilities of the Travel Electrophysiology Technician

Assist physicians during electrophysiology procedures and device implantations

Operate and maintain cardiac monitoring and EP lab equipment

Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety

Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records

Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures

Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Requirements of the Travel Electrophysiology Technician

EP Technician certification or relevant cardiac procedure experience (required)

BLS certification (required)

2+ years of experience in electrophysiology or cardiac catheterization

Strong knowledge of cardiac procedures, monitoring equipment, and patient safety
