Sustainability Manager

Vaco is working with a client in the flooring / manufacturing industry who is looking for a Director of Sustainability to come and join there team. As the Director of Sustainability key responsibilities will include, conducting presentations on different sustainable projects the company is conducting, giving information on sustainability to customers and employees, and acting as an advocate and liaison with different environmental groups. This opportunity is located in City of Industries and will be in the office full time. This opportunity is looking to pay between 85k-110k on a direct hire basis. This opportunity will require travel to different office location (30%-40%) to promote sustainability efforts.

Job Specifications :

• Communicating Sustainability vision and initiatives to employees and customers of the company

Acting as advocate and liaison with environmental groups

Working with sales and marketing team to execute marketing programs and brand campaigns centered around sustainability

Serving as ESG expert and working to make the company more sustainable

3 plus year working in Sustainability required for role

Degree with an emphasis in environmental or Sustainability preferred

LEED AP certification preferred

Bilingual in Spanish preferred

Must be willing to travel (30%-40%)
