The M&E Project Manager is responsible for oversight of the mechanical, electrical and plumbing trades along with other relevant scopes of work including owner furnished equipment, fire alarm, security, BMS and EPMS. M&E PMs are involved with subcontractor and vendor management, communication with the client regarding construction activities, participation in the commissioning process and interface with the design and engineering team. They work directly with the site project manager and project engineers to manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, quality control processes and closeout for all M&E trades.
A successful M&E Project Manager must be technically sound, detail-oriented, collaborative, flexible and able to multitask with multiple scopes and projects simultaneously. They need to be able to troubleshoot and perform under pressure and maintain strict budgets and schedules. They must be able to mentor and learn from other team members as well as maintain relationships with owners, coworkers, vendors, manufacturers, subcontractors, facilities personnel and design engineers.

Physical Requirements
Work is performed on an active construction site. Role requires standing or walking for long periods of time. Utilize standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, etc. Communication with internal and external contacts, including speaking and hearing. May occasionally move equipment up to 50 lbs.
Travel Requirements
