Blevins, Inc., a financially strong, privately owned wholesaler of building supplies, is searching for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accounting Analyst. This position will be based in our Corporate office located in Nashville, TN.

What you will do...
- Oversee lease accounting and property-related financial activities.
- Maintain and reconcile lease schedules and ensure compliance with ASC 842.
- Manage all aspects of the accounting cycle, including journal entries, general ledger, and financial reporting.
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes with precision and timeliness.
- Perform detailed reconciliations and variance analyses to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data across all accounts.
- Monitor and analyze operating expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities and supporting budget adherence.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and external regulations, while supporting audit processes and implementing internal controls.
- Build and maintain complex financial models and reports, utilizing advanced Excel functions (e.g., Power Query, PivotTables, VBA) to streamline processes.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.5+ years of experience in property / lease accounting and full-cycle accounting.Strong understanding of GAAP and lease accounting standards.Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility and willingness to work in a collaborative team environmentProcess-oriented with strong time management skillsWhat We're Looking For :
