Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiology

Shift Detail : Mon-Fri ( 8 : 30a-5p)

Actively seeking a dynamic and dedicated experienced Registered Nurse to join a top Cardiology practice in Fairfield County.  The Cardiology Nurse will provide care to Non-Invasive Cardiology outpatient offices while maintaining clinical standards and guidelines.  The ideal candidate will provided high quality patient-centered care, advocacy and education for the patient and families and collaborate with the Cardiology team.

• Provide Exceptional Patient Care
• Excellent Communicator - Must be able to communicate effectively with all members of health care team, patients and family
• Strong Educator – Educate Patient and family members so that they have a transparent understanding of care being provided, testing that is being performed, medical condition including signs and symptoms, treatment regimens, testing, expected outcomes, potential adverse reactions or outcomes including management of condition promoting optimal level of health
• Act as a resource person for patients and their families
• Assists with all specialty related testing (stress testing, echoes) and / or procedures when indicated, providing technical skills
• Monitor, assess and documents patients throughout testing / procedures according to office policies and procedures
• Uses critical thinking skills to resolve complex testing / procedural situations
• Reviews patient charts prior to scheduled stress testing and / or procedures
• Telephone triage
• Provide support to non-RN personnel
• All other duties as assigned
