Opportunity : Board Certified / Board Eligible - Endocrinologist Job Details :

• 80% Inpatient / 20% Outpatient Endocrinology consult liaison position at Shady Grove Medical Center
• Treat patients with hormone related diseases and conditions
• Diagnose and treat diabetes mellitus and thyroid dysfunction
• Provide treatment for metabolic disorders
• Treat and manage various conditions affecting the endocrine system
• Primary focus on inpatient consults supporting the ED, ICU and hospital units
• Transition clinic in adjacent medical office building, 2-3 sessions per week
• Volume expectations : 12-14 consults per day and 6-7 patients per outpatient session
• Monday through Friday schedule, 8am to 5pm
• No assigned call, with occasional evening or weekend phone calls
• Must have completed Fellowship in endocrinology
• BE / BC in Internal Medicine required
• MD license, CDS and DEA required
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
