A company is looking for a Patient Access Manager to oversee patient access programs and reimbursement support.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement patient access program strategies, workflows, and performance metrics
Manage a personal caseload of patients requiring reimbursement support and ensure compliance with relevant laws
Develop training materials and collaborate with various teams to enhance patient access support and streamline workflows
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in patient access, reimbursement support, or medical billing / coding
Direct experience with wound care or vascular therapeutic areas
Expertise in prior authorizations, appeals, and benefit investigations
Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer policies
Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
