Group), Division of Transplant and Cell Therapy (TCT)
/ Hematological Malignancies is looking to recruit for faculty
positions at open rank (Assistant / Associate / Professor) as clinical
investigators, including leadership opportunities to join our team.
We are seeking energetic faculty clinical
investigators who desire to develop an academic, clinical research
and patient-centered program, in close collaboration with
established basic and translational scientists at Loma Linda
University.
Successful candidates will have a
primarily clinical assignment, but will also be expected to
develop, conduct, and participate in clinical trials, other
collaborative research in Hematological malignancies. Leadership
opportunities are available based on candidate rank and experience.
Loma Linda University has a strong
collaborative, mentoring and supportive environment especially for
graduating fellows and junior faculty applicants.
Teaching responsibilities would involve oversight of
residents, fellows, and mid-level providers during ambulatory and
inpatient activities.
In addition to standard
therapies, TCT / Hem Malignancies Division is focused on the
development and implementation of novel therapies for Hematological
Malignancies including novel agents, small molecules inhibitors,
immune therapies (MoAbs, CAR-T, vaccine, and gene therapy) as well
as autologous and allogeneic hematopoietic stem-cell
transplantation.
Specific hematological
disease and treatment modality focus is optional and is based on
candidate preference.
This work is supported
by the Cancer Center Clinical Trials Unit, dedicated clinic space
and infusion centers, inpatient unit, a new cGMP and TCT
laboratory, FACT accredited TCT program in adult autologous and
allogeneic BMT and immune effector cell therapy, fully
characterized tumor samples repository and new state-of-the-art
Medical Center building opened in 2021, all on the Medical School
campus.
Loma Linda University was established
in 1905. Loma Linda University Medical Center is the major and only
Academic Medical Center in the Inland Empire in Southern California
that provides Transplant and Cell therapy.
Qualification requirements include MD (or equivalent), completion
of fellowships in Hematology and / or Medical Oncology, and
Hematology or Medical Oncology board eligible or certified.
Comprehensive salary, benefits, and a
competitive package will be provided, and academic appointment will
be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Administrative
and research support including staff, resources and infrastructure
will be provided.
The campus is located within
driving distance from Los Angeles, beach cities and San Diego.

Compensation & Benefits
The compensation range listed is for
starting base compensation only and is adjusted based upon years of
experience and / or faculty rank : $200,000 – $500,000. This amount
does not include variable compensation or extra productivity and is
subject to the individual department compensation plans. More
information on compensation is discussed with the departments
during the recruitment process.
