Salary : $85,000-$89,000.00

About the Role

TLC Care Center is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Staff Development Coordinator / Infection Prevention Nurse (SDC / IP) to join our leadership team. This role is critical in ensuring our residents receive safe, high-quality care while maintaining compliance with state, federal, and facility standards.

As the SDC / IP Nurse, you will oversee staff education, training, and orientation programs, while also managing infection control policies and practices throughout the facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse leader who enjoys mentoring staff and making a direct impact on quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and conduct orientation and ongoing staff development programs.

Maintain accurate records of training, competencies, and in-services.

Serve as Infection Preventionist : develop, implement, and monitor infection prevention and control policies.

Provide education and guidance to staff on infection control practices and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote compliance and quality care.

Monitor resident and staff infection data, report trends, and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications

Current RN in the state of Nevada.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care / skilled nursing preferred.

Strong knowledge of infection control practices and regulatory guidelines.

Previous experience in staff development, education, or leadership role a plus.

Excellent communication, organizational, and team-building skills.
