Housekeeping Team Member
Searching for reliable and productive housekeeping team member to join the Saddlebrook family. This position will perform a combination of tasks to maintain guestrooms and working areas in a clean and orderly manner. The candidate will demonstrate a professional, warm and welcoming demeanor to all guests.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to :
- Cleans rugs, carpets and furniture
- Moves furniture and turns mattresses as needed
- Removes trash collected by room attendants
- Transports clean linen to the clusters
- Assists room attendants with heavy lifting
- Cleans outside patio of guest rooms
- Assists room attendants with stripping soiled linen from beds
- Assists in transporting roll-way beds
- All other duties as assigned by Management
Qualifications
Ability to scrub and scour surfaces, extending arms over head to perform cleaning tasks, and work in confined spaces.Must be willing to "pitch-in" and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player.Knowledge of chemical cleaning agents and operation of various cleaning equipment with or without reasonable accommodation.Ability to push and / or pull equipment weighing up to 100 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public etc.
