This position acts within the scope of practice of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Performs a variety of clinical duties which promote a safe and organized environment for the delivery of services to children and their families within the urgent care setting. This position reports to an Urgent Care supervisor.

Minimum Job Requirements

Licensure, Registration and / or Certification

• Currently registered with the State of Wisconsin Registry for Nursing Assistants / Home Health Aides to be eligible for employment in the basic provider settings plus federally certified home health agencies and hospices or a graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program; certification preferred. Certified Nursing Assistant certifications are not required to be renewed after hire.
• Current CPR certification Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required.

Education

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Proficient in the Microsoft Windows environment.

Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills necessary to work independently in a fast paced multi-functioned department

Requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to assist patients, parents, and physicians and other staff.

Required flexibility to prioritize efforts to meet needs of the patients, parents, physicians and other staff.

Will require travel to any Urgent Care location.
