Job descriptionWork in an acute care hospital on the Telemetry unit Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 19 : 00 to 07 : 30 Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1 : 5-6 Patient population includes adults requiring cardiac monitoring and management of cardiac medications and drips (no titration) Required to work six weekend shifts within each six-week period No on-call responsibilities Floating within scope to meet facility needs, including within service line and to affiliate hospitals as needed Charting is performed using Epic EMR, and experience with Epic is required Blue / navy scrubs required First-time travelers are accepted for this role Must not have been a permanent employee at any BJC facility within the past year Assignment is 13 weeks with a maximum of 7 days of requested time off, with no time off allowed during the first week Holiday coverage is required Fit testing is required and travelers must be clean-shaven to ensure proper mask fit Free parking is available onsite Orientation modules must be completed before start date Active MO or compact RN license required Minimum of 2 years telemetry RN experience Certifications required : BCLS and NIHSS ACLS and CPI certifications are preferred Strong skills in telemetry including reading cardiac rhythms Experience administering cardiac medications and drips (excluding titration) Epic charting experience required Must reside outside a 75-mile radius from the facility References from two supervisory contacts within the last two years preferred No artificial or nail enhancements and no Crocs with holes allowed High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
