The role is responsible for management for revenue for assigned areas which include but not limited to KENAN, Latis, and Federal SAP / Dassian internal systems. Management of Revenue includes explaining variances and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts for assigned billing systems; maintaining the DRS (Deferred Revenue System); and attending monthly meetings related to changes and new product offerings. Assist the Senior Director of Margin with additional projects.

This position has been designated as fully remote in the U.S.

The main responsibilities include managing multiple direct reports, ensuring all end user billing activity from various billing systems is interfaced to the ERP system completely and accurately and are accurately reflected on financial statements, maintaining the DRS (Deferred Revenue System) for deferred revenue treatment of charges, reviewing manual journal entries for accuracy and proper documentation, maintaining balance sheet reconciliations related to the revenue lines and billing systems, preparing revenue and expense variances for responsible areas, assisting business partners, such as FP&A, with monthly revenue variance drivers, attending monthly meetings with Product Team and Margin Changes meetings to speak to any revenue-related changes requested, attending monthly meetings and assisting Technical Accounting with GL account coding for new products / offerings, assisting in new product offer implementation, reviewing codes quarterly, supporting audit functions, working with foreign accounting groups, working on ERP S4 Hanna initiatives, overseeing regression testing for IT change requests and system transformation initiatives, and other duties as assigned.

What we look for in a candidate includes extensive knowledge and application of generally accepted accounting principles, a bachelor's degree in accounting, minimum of 8 years of total accounting experience with at least five years in a public company, minimum of 4 years of supervisory experience, ability to work in a complex environment, excellent analytical skills, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, good oral and written communication skills, and ability to work with minimal supervision with a continuous improvement mindset. Preferred qualifications include Certified Public Accountant, public accounting experience, Big-4 experience, experience with SAP, and experience in technology industry.

Compensation is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors. Location based pay ranges : $129,639 - $172,852 in these states : AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, and WY. $136,121 - $181,494 in these states : CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, and RI. $142,603 - $190,137 in these states : AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.
