Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor, Newborn, and Postpartum role in Eastern Montana, requiring a MT or compact RN license and specialized certifications.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a combined Labor & Delivery, Nursery, and Postpartum unit
  • Care provided to laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborn infants
  • Fast-paced, team-oriented environment with strong interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Day shifts (06 : 45–19 : 00) and night shifts (18 : 45–07 : 00) available
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • Responsibilities include patient triage, performing NSTs, assisting as the second nurse at deliveries, and managing overflow patients
  • Must collaborate effectively with physicians, pediatricians, and healthcare team
  • No COVID-19 vaccination requirement specified
  • Immediate or negotiated start dates accepted

  • Active MT or compact RN license required
  • Minimum of 1 year labor-trained RN experience
  • Certifications required : Basic Life Support (BLS / BCLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and STABLE
  • Intermediate or above Fetal Monitoring certification required
