Hospice Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)
Location : San Jose, CA
Schedule : Full-Time
Setting : Hospice Care

About the Role
Join a compassionate, mission-driven hospice team dedicated to providing exceptional end-of-life care. Were seeking a skilled and empathetic Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to help lead clinical operations, support staff, and uphold the highest quality standards for patients and families.
Responsibilities
- Support the Director of Nursing in managing day-to-day clinical operations
- Provide mentorship and guidance to field and office nursing staff
- Oversee patient assessments, care coordination, and symptom management
- Ensure compliance with hospice policies and state / federal regulations
- Participate in interdisciplinary case conferences and performance improvement
- Foster teamwork, collaboration, and clear communication across departments
