Position Summary :
We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and experienced Infant Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood development and committed to creating a warm and supportive classroom environment that meets the physical, emotional, and developmental needs of infants and toddlers.
Responsibilities :
- Provide responsive, respectful, and nurturing care to infants and toddlers (ages 6wks-12mths)
- Implement age-appropriate activities that promote developmental milestones
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about daily routines, progress, and concerns
- Observe and document childrens growth, behavior, and development
- Collaborate with co-teachers and administrative staff to plan curriculum and activities
- Follow all licensing regulations and health and safety standards
- Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions as required
Qualifications :
High School Diploma or GED requiredAssociates or Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferredInfant / Toddler CDA (Child Development Associate) certification or willingness to obtainAt least 2 year of experience working with infants or toddlers in a licensed child care settingKnowledge of child development principles and best practicesStrong communication, teamwork, and organizational skillsCPR and First Aid certificationAbility to lift up to 40 lbs and engage in active playBenefits :
