About The Position

We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant for a 30-day locum tenens assignment in Washington. This challenging role starts on Oct 1, 2025, and involves night shifts from 8 PM to 8 AM, encompassing 5-10 shifts per month. The selected candidate will take charge of the emergency room operations during the principal physician's resting periods, ensuring prompt and efficient patient care.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage the emergency room independently while the on-call doctor is available for backup.
  • Perform essential procedures, including intubation, under emergency conditions.
  • Ensure seamless operation and coordination of the ER during nighttime.
  • Adhere to all safety and health regulations to provide top-notch medical care.

  • Required Board Certifications : Family Medicine
  • Must hold a valid Physician Assistant license in Washington.
  • Additional certifications needed : BLS, PALS, ATLS, DEA
  • Proficient in using Meditech EHR for documenting and managing patient information.
