Pueblo Community College provided pay range : $52.92 / hr - $52.92 / hr.

This application is valid for the 2025-26 Academic Year; a new application must be submitted in July 2026 for any openings beyond this period.

The position may be expected to teach at either the Pueblo or Fremont campus locations.

Department Purpose

The Division of Arts and Sciences provides instruction in the disciplines of Arts, Communication, Humanities, Education, Science, Engineering, Mathematics, and Social & Behavioral Sciences.

The Media Communications Department develops students into professional creative thinkers, communicators and problem solvers who possess academic, technical and creative competence.

Position Description

The Instructor provides classroom, laboratory, or related instruction under the supervision of the Department Chair and is responsible for planning and providing student instruction in accordance with approved syllabi, curriculum guidelines, and required program standards.

Instructors may teach a full 16-week term, an abbreviated term, or limited hours, depending on discipline / subject.

Absences will be minimal and only for appropriate cause; prior notification of the Department Chair is required.

Essential Functions

• Teaches courses as assigned within instructor workload guidelines.
• Meets all scheduled classes.
• Provides adequate preparation of course material.
• Ensures compliance with classroom safety procedures.
• Submits student grades within required timelines.
