Role Description

The Budget & Financial Management Analyst supports the NIWC Atlantic CSSP by providing fiscal oversight, budget formulation, execution, and financial reporting. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate budget tracking, forecasting, and compliance with DoD and Navy financial regulations. The analyst will coordinate with leadership and contracting personnel to align budget planning with program goals and mission priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support annual budget planning, formulation, and financial execution for CSSP operations.
• Monitor and track all task order funding obligations, expenditures, and projections.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial status reports.
• Develop cost estimates, spend plans, and variance analysis for leadership review.
• Ensure compliance with Navy and DoD fiscal policies and audit standards.
• Collaborate with Program Managers and Contracting Officers to validate funding requirements.
• Support audits and data calls related to budget and funding activities.

Qualifications

Clearance Level : Secret

Education : Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.

Experience : 5+ years of experience in DoD or Federal budget execution and management.
