Operations Manager- Mechanic & Maintenance

The Wilner Group has partnered with our client, one of the largest wholesale manufacturers of potting media and mulches in North Carolina, in search of an Operations Manager – Mechanics & Maintenance to join their team. This is a fully on-site position located in Rose Hill, NC .

Responsibilities :

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair plant machinery, including grinders, conveyors, and loaders.
• Lead preventive maintenance programs and manage service schedules.
• Maintain inventory of tools, parts, lubricants, and other mechanical supplies.
• Supervise the maintenance team and assign daily tasks.
• Ensure full compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate with vendors and senior leadership for parts procurement and external services.
• Respond to emergency equipment breakdowns and lead root-cause investigations.
• Manage daily production schedules and ensure output targets are met.
• Monitor equipment performance and collaborate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.

Qualifications :

Compensation : $90,000 – $115,000
