Controller

Area’s the Controller will be responsible for :
- Internal Controls / Audit – oversee the interim and year end testing procedures, review and update internal controls narratives on a semi-annual basis to reflect current operation procedures
- Acquisitions – responsible all closing activities in connection with acquisitions, securing federal tax ID numbers for new entities, establish new bank accounts, review settlement statements and verify all numbers pre-closing, work with legal department to confirm ownership structure, review mortgage agreements and update lender information / compliance summary
- Financial Reporting – oversee all the month-end / quarter-end reporting deliverables to ensure accurate and compliant with GAAP / IFRS and other regulatory requirements, prepare quarterly subsidiary reporting packages
- Budgeting & Analysis – prepare and review the operating budgets and reforecast for all subsidiaries, prepare business plans, cash flow forecasts, and distribution notices, quarterly analysis of corporate books and explain variances
- Payroll / Benefits – approve bi-weekly reports prior to submission of payroll, process bi-weekly payroll and monthly benefit wires, participate in annual review of Employee Benefit program
- Treasury Management – review all cash requirements, monitor daily bank balances, capital calls for investment purposes, create all relationships with banks / lenders
