Associate Director Of Sensor Operations

We are searching for the best talent for an Associate Director of Sensor Operations. The Sensor Operations Leader is a role targeted at improving the stability of J&J Heart Recovery's Sensor Supply, working closely with research and development team, supply chain and production operations.
You will be responsible for :
- Sustaining a Patient's First, winning culture of excellence in execution, continuous improvement, and communication within production facilities. Demonstrated ability to think globally.
- Managing other Managers, Supervisors, and / or individual contributors in a matrix environment, and is accountable for conducting effective performance management and meaningful career development conversations.
- Collaborating cross-functionally to coordinate Manufacturing Assembly improvement initiatives.
- Developing training programs to facilitate cross training of manufacturing personnel, employee development, and quality systems compliance.
- Ensuring compliance with ISO13485, GMP, FDA, OSHA regulations.
- Assurance of timely delivery of product per agreed-to build plan to internal and finished goods customers.
- Monitoring work, altering schedules to meet unforeseen conditions, controlling flow of work to ensure maximum use of available capacity and effective use of labor, tools and equipment.
- Providing prompt problem solving for key issues, driving through from root cause identification, containment, problem resolution, and ensuring repeat issues are avoided.
- Acting as a team role model and change agent. Positively leading and influencing team members to partner together to achieve individual and business goals.
- Developing and maintaining metrics that track self-performance, performance of team, and health of product lines assumed responsibility for.
- Supporting New Product Introduction initiatives and advocating for Manufacturing optimization in design and process development.
- Maintaining accurate Inventory metrics via daily cycle counts and demonstrating discipline in material movements in and out of work orders.
- In partnership with site quality, leading the teams through our QMS overhaul and inspection remediation, building our CAPA muscle and making ETQ our standard work.
- Projecting a clear vision for the future of site operations, having a key seat at the table to be vocal in strategic discussions / decisions with Ops strategy lead and senior Ops leadership.
Qualifications / Requirements :
8+ years of related Semiconductor, MEMs manufacturing experience; Medical device experience preferred.5+ years of experience leading large hourly teams and multifunctional salaried teams.Demonstrated engineering and / or production management in related technology.Experience managing compliance associated with quality, regulatory, and safety policies.Experience transitioning product and process change into manufacturing operations.Strong knowledge of lean, six sigma, kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.Experience with process and equipment changes in a FDA regulated environment (IQ / OQ / PQ / PPQ).Ability to provide positive and constructive feedback, coach / mentor, and develop individuals.Knowledge of manufacturing operational systems, best practices, processes, and technology.Ability to communicate ideas and information clearly, effectively, and frequently up and down the hierarchy.Model the Abiomed / J&J values and culture to be an Ambassador for Abiomed within and outside the company.Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Working knowledge of SAP desired.Strong knowledge of Manufacturing Planning / Production Execution in SAP S4 ERP and EWM.The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar / performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is : $120,000-$207,000
