Job descriptionProven experience programming CNC machines and robotic systems in metal fabrication or structural / pipe manufacturing environments . Proficiency with CAM software (Dragon or similar). Experience working with plasma tables, beamlines, or robotic welding / handling systems . Strong knowledge of G-code, toolpaths, and machine setup. Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings (DXF, DWG, STEP files). Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively with welding and fabrication teams.
Key Responsibilities :
- Import and interpret CAD drawings (DXF, DWG, or similar) to generate machine programs that accurately produce parts.
- Collaborate with engineering, welding, and production teams to improve workflows, reduce cycle times, and maintain high-quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machines and robotic systems, including tool paths, motion programming, and automation sequences.
- Maintain proper documentation for programs, setups, and operational procedures.
