RN - Hospice at Providence Health and Services summary :

The RN Nurse Clinician in Hospice provides comprehensive care to terminally ill patients and their families by assessing needs, planning, coordinating, and revising care plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. This role emphasizes holistic, patient-centered care to improve quality of life and ensure continuity during end-of-life stages. Candidates must have a nursing degree, valid RN license, BLS certification, and preferably hospice or pediatric nursing experience.

Description

The RN Nurse Clinician provides holistic care to terminally ill pediatric or adult patients and their families by assessing the needs of the patient, and then planning, coordinating, implementing, and as needed, revising the Plan of Care. The RN Nurse Clinician works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary hospice group (IDG)with the goals of anticipating changes in the patient's condition, avoiding crises, promoting patient and family choice, ensuring continuity of care, and enhancing the quality of life of dying patients. Shift, schedule and caseload of shifts and caseload may vary according to position assignment.

Required Qualifications :

• Associate's Degree in Nursing or
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent educ / experience
• Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire
• Provider BLS - American Heart Association required within 30 days of hire
