- Employee Relations Manager
- to join their team temporarily to lead critical workplace initiatives around performance management, grievance resolution, and employee engagement. In this role, youll serve as a trusted advisor to managers and staff, helping to create a fair, compliant, and respectful work environment, while supporting both union and non-union teams.

- Responsibilities of the Employee Labor Relations Manager :
- Provide consultation and guidance to managers on performance, discipline, grievance procedures, and workplace conduct
- Interpret and advise on collective bargaining agreements and labor policies
- Conduct investigations and make recommendations regarding employee relations issues
- Support labor negotiations and analyze the impact of proposals and agreements
- Facilitate difficult conversations between managers, employees, and union representatives
- Review and approve employee disciplinary actions and provide coaching on best practices
- Develop and deliver training to supervisors and managers on CBA compliance, workplace conduct, and progressive discipline
- Provide one-on-one coaching and counseling to employees and leadership
- Support retention strategies, including conducting stay interviews and trend analysis
- Create tools, templates, and resources to promote policy understanding and compliance
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies
- Keep required workplace postings up to date across multiple sites
- Represent the organization in unemployment hearings as needed
- Update job descriptions and track employee interactions and issues using HRIS tools
- Qualifications of the Employee Labor Relations Manager :
- 5+ years of employee relations experience, preferably within a unionized environment
- Bachelors degree in HR, Labor Relations, or related field preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations (federal and state)
- Proven experience in mediation, conflict resolution, and investigative processes
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required (some travel to worksites)
