Provide leadership and oversight for Behavioral Health, Psychiatric Services, psychiatric hospitalist, and consultation services
Represent psychiatric services to hospital administration and participate in relevant administrative meetings
Engage in community-related partnerships
Act as liaison with medical staff to ensure timely transitions in care
Facilitate prompt CL services for acute care consultations
Serve as a role model and coordinate psychiatric provider workload and call schedules with departmental leadership
Complete daily rounding and timely documentation on assigned patients
Develop and implement policies and procedures for hospital-based psychiatric services
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including providers, nursing, therapy, and support staff
Provide clinical oversight for independently licensed mental health providers (LPCs, LCSWs, etc.) across behavioral health programs, such as crisis hotline, mobile crisis, telehealth, and assessment services
