CDI Specialist

A company is looking for a CDI Specialist | Non-Clinical. Key Responsibilities Partner with software development team as a strategic advisor in the development of a CDI platform Review inpatient and / or outpatient medical records to ensure accurate and complete documentation of diagnoses, treatments, and procedures Track, analyze, and report CDI performance metrics to leadership Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience; Master's degree in Health Information Management preferred CCDS certification 2+ years of CDI, clinical, or coding experience in an acute care setting High knowledge and experience with various CDI software tools Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM / PCS, DRG methodology, and coding compliance standards
