Automation Personnel Services is looking for a   Fastener    for  a company based in Baton Rouge, La. In this role, you will  be responsible  for  securely assembling, fastening, and joining components using a variety of tools and fastening methods. This position ensures that all fasteners are installed according to specifications, safety standards, and production requirements.

Pay Rate

$15.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours

Monday through Friday, 7 : 30 am to 4 : 30 pm.

Fastener    Duties and Responsibilities

  • Select and prepare appropriate fasteners, bolts, screws, rivets, or other hardware for assigned tasks.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and fastening equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Align and position parts or components to be fastened according to blueprints, diagrams, or work orders.
  • Inspect completed assemblies to verify correct installation and secure fit.
  • Identify and replace defective or worn fasteners as needed.
  • Follow production schedules and meet established quality and efficiency goals.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.

Fastener Qualifications and Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or construction (preferred but not required).
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and fastening equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

    • Work Environment

  • Manufacturing or warehouse setting.
  • Exposure to loud noise, dust, and moving machinery.
  • Requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
