Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a Water / Wastewater Engineer for our Jacksonville office. As part of our design and process teams, you will be involved with a wide range of wastewater infrastructure projects. This will encompass all phases of design, including conceptual / feasibility evaluations, project management, preparation of design reports, permitting, development of construction drawings and specifications, and support of construction services.

Key Responsibilities :
Support the development of technical treatment strategies, selection of treatment processes, developing process design criteria, and delivering projectsSupport coordination and collaboration with clientsCoordination with internal technical specialists in all practice areas and discipline design professionals for project delivery.Support planning, design, permitting, and construction of water / wastewater-related projects.Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to effectively meet the client’s needsCandidate shall also be able to support preparation of proposals and presentationsFieldwork and site visits from planning through construction may be required with occasional travelRequired Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental EngineeringPE license in Florida (or ability to obtain within first year)5-12 years of experience in the field of wastewater-related infrastructure, including project engineering / management (planning, design, and construction)Experience in successfully delivering supporting projects spanning multiple years in collaborative, multi-disciplinary teamsProficient in all MS Office based computer softwareExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, and capable of interacting effectively with staff, clients, and regulatory agenciesSelf-starter with attention to detailStrong organizational skillsMust be capable of presenting complex issues to nontechnical peopleAdd qualifications as required by the specific positionPreferred Qualifications :
