GIS Specialist - Orlando

Ardaman & Associates, Inc. is one of the largest geotechnical engineering and materials testing consulting firms in the Southeastern U.S. We have worked on more than 150,000 projects throughout the Southeast, the U.S., and worldwide.

We have an opportunity available for a GIS Specialist to join our GIS department and assist professional engineers and geologists in the water resources field. The successful respondent will work in Orlando, performing data development and analysis to support computer modeling of surface and groundwater systems, stormwater management planning, water supply development and other related studies in the water resources field.

Key Responsibilities :

• Analyze and interpret spatial data to produce high-quality maps and reports.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure accurate data integration.
• Utilizing RTK-GPS units for data collection and mapping in various field projects is a plus.
• Perform quality control and validation of spatial data collected through RTK-GPS.
• Stay updated on the latest GIS and GPS technologies and best practices.
