Compensation : $76,000 to $88,000

They are dedicated to profitable growth through superior underwriting and claims management, alongside fostering a positive work culture for their expanding team.

We are currently seeking a General Liability Claims Examiner to join their team in Scottsdale, AZ; Alpharetta, GA; Chapel Hill, NC; or Hartford, CT. In this role, you will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle injury and property damage claims across multiple jurisdictions while applying relevant policy coverage, laws, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Review new loss reports and develop initial claims action plans

Analyze policy coverage relative to the facts and allegations of each claim

Prepare Reservation of Rights and Declination of Coverage letters as appropriate

Communicate with policyholders and claimants to confirm notice of loss and define investigation scope

Assign and manage independent adjusting firms for claim investigations when necessary

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university

Minimum of 1+ years handling property & casualty insurance claims within a carrier or insurer

Preferred : 3+ years’ experience managing commercial general liability and / or garage policies

Strong knowledge of claims investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and settlement processes

Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills

Base Salary Range : $76,000 to $88,000
