Overview
We are seeking a Business Analyst with a strong foundation in IT and SDLC processes to support our growing portfolio of technology projects within a manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a self-starter who is eager to learn the industry, dive into processes, and grow into a leadership position over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering & Documentation : Collaborate with stakeholders to capture business needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements.
- SDLC Support : Ensure compliance with software development lifecycle standards, including managing and maintaining 24 required artifacts for IT projects.
- Process Engagement : Work closely with operations teams, including occasional visits to the production floor (starting as early as 6 AM when needed).
- Cross-Functional Coordination : Know when to involve QA, operations, and other teams to keep projects on track.
- IT Project Support : Assist with initiatives across IT applications, infrastructure, AV systems, and other technology domains.
- Boundary Adherence : Operate within established frameworks and standards—focus on execution, not reinventing processes.
- Regional Support : Provide coverage for projects in Clarksville and Hopkinsville facilities.
Qualifications
Experience : Minimum 5 years of prior Business Analyst experience, preferably in IT or manufacturing environments.Technical Knowledge : Familiarity with SDLC and IT project methodologies.Detail-Oriented : Ability to manage documentation and compliance requirements accurately.Flexibility : Willingness to visit production floors early when necessary.Growth Mindset : Desire to learn, adapt, and build a long-term career within the organization.Communication Skills : Strong ability to work with multiple stakeholders and take direction from leadership.Targeting pay $45-60 / hr depending on experience
