Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Nursing Assistant (NA) who will provide top-tier caregiving to our residents during their scheduled shifts. This crucial role requires you to demonstrate expert-level experience as a certified nursing assistant, while also supporting fellow staff whenever necessary.

Your responsibilities will include :

• Delivering resident-centered nursing care and assisting with daily living activities.
• Providing age-appropriate care based on individual needs outlined in care plans.
• Assisting residents with basic health care needs including bathing, grooming, dressing, and obtaining vital signs.
• Helping residents transfer, reposition, and walk safely, using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Contributing to a positive dining experience by assisting with meals and snacks.
• Supporting nursing staff with medical procedures and documenting resident interactions accurately.
• Communicating residents' changing conditions to charge nurses effectively.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization in residents’ living areas.
• Encouraging resident participation in wellness and recreational programs.

In addition to caregiving, you may lead and document activities for the Restorative Nursing program and participate in departmental committees when required.
