We are seeking a motivated Associate Trial Attorney to join our growing practice. We are a small firm with opportunity for significant growth and responsibility within a short period of time.

Job Description

As an Associate Trial Attorney, you will work closely with senior attorneys to manage cases from inception through trial. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in civil litigation, including case strategy, client interaction, and courtroom advocacy. You will be in the Courtroom trying cases within the first year.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents
• Assist in case preparation, including depositions, hearings, and trials
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
• Analyze complex legal issues and develop case strategies
• Represent clients in court proceedings under the supervision of senior attorneys
• Manage case files and ensure deadlines are met

Qualifications :

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Active membership in the California State Bar

1-3 years of civil litigation experience (preferred, but not required)

Strong analytical, research, and writing skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
