The Department of Community and Human Services, Behavioral Health and Recovery Division (BHRD) is leading several initiatives to provide access to relevant behavioral health services across King County. DCHS has three openings for a Behavioral Health Workforce Investments Manager - Project / Program Manager (PPM) III. BHRD works to improve the quality of life in King County by ensuring that adults, youth, children, families and communities receive the mental health and substance use disorder services that they need.
The Behavioral Health and Recovery Division (BHRD) of DCHS is looking for Behavioral Health Workforce Investments managers to help implement, grow and maintain behavioral health workforce investments. This position is responsible for the development and implementation of the Behavioral Health Workforce Investments strategy in alignment with BHRD's strategic goals. Under the supervision of the Behavioral Health Workforce Strategic Operations Manager, this role will coordinate, implement and maintain workforce development investment projects, including contracting and contract monitoring. The position requires collaborative planning, execution, maintenance and reporting on BHRD workforce investments, working closely with internal, external, and community partners.
This position is open to all qualified internal King County Employees that meet the minimum qualifications. This position is exempt from the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime. Typical hours are Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. This position is not represented by a union.
Employees in this role work remotely from a home location, with onsite reporting requirements. The frequency of onsite work is determined by business needs and may be adjusted accordingly. Employees must reside in Washington State and be within a reasonable distance of King County worksites to meet onsite reporting requirements.
