Dental Assistant (PRN) - Instructor

This is an excellent opportunity for PRN Dental Assistants to enjoy a flexible schedule at our Aurora campus.

When applying, please include your availability. We offer a variety of shift options, including 8 : 00 AM to 12 : 30 PM and 5 : 00 PM to 10 : 00 PM.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Evaluate and grade classwork, assignments, and papers within 72 hours.
• Address academic or behavioral concerns with students, escalating issues to the Assistant Dean of Faculty and Student Services Coordinator as needed.
• Maintain face-to-face office hours to guide and support students.
• Supervise students during externships.
• Review and recommend updates to course materials, including syllabi, assignments, and handouts, through the approved process.
• Complete all required documentation, including student files, attendance records, incident reports, and early alerts.
• Periodically assess facilities and equipment to ensure alignment with current dental assisting practices and suggest modifications as needed.
• Enforce safety and security protocols for all students, staff, and visitors.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
